REVEREND WALTER JUNIOUS, SR., FOUNDING PASTOR
& VERONDA JUNIOUS, CO-FOUNDER AND FIRST LADY

A native of Richmond Texas confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior at the tender age of nine years old. He was baptized at the Nazareth Missionary Baptist Church in Richmond, Texas where he served faithfully, throughout most of his childhood life under the leadership of the late Dr. R. L. Allen. As a teenager, Rev. Junious was ordained as a deacon at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Richmond, Texas. He is acclaimed throughout the city of Richmond and by the Mt. Zion Baptist Church membership as being one of the youngest men in the history of the church to serve in the capacity of an active deacon and perform the full responsibilities of its office.

In February 1995, Rev. Junious accepted his call into the Gospel ministry. Approximately 13 months later on March 30, 1996, he publically preached his initial sermon and was licensed to preach, teach and perform other ministerial duties. Rev. Walter Junious was subsequently ordained in March 2000 and has had the privilege of serving in bi-vocational ministry as an ordained minister for over twelve years. Rev. Junious’ received his formal ministerial training at The College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Texas. He currently holds an Associates of Arts degree in Biblical Studies and will complete the academic requirements to receive his Bachelor of Science degree in Pastoral Leadership this fall.
